Walking down the hallway of Forks high school was a bit scary. I've never even been to high school in my life but i pulled off being a senior very well. Looking down at the slip of paper the lady at the front office had given me I made note that my first class was Langauge Arts. I never really liked L.A but I didn't really have a problem with it either. I mean I like dto read and write but ever since comming ot america I've never been onm top of grammer. But hey what could I say, I'm Japanese for crying out loud I never really had the need for american grammer. So when I walked in the classroom and the teacher asked for my name I made a fool of myself.
"Ishiyama, Kannon my name." I said not realizing that what I had said didn't make much since. However my cheeks didn't get red like they used to get when ever i made a fool of myself but I kinda got used to that. Ever since that night I've never really have been myself. My eyes never seemed to be the lovely brown color they were before that night, always being red or this honey golden color. I figued out ways to hide it though but the contacts in my eyes always screws up my vision. I mean I could see but my eyes would focus on the little dot of color. Not only that my eyes had changed my body had changed to. In the sun my body gleamed like there were little diamonds on my skin. I've had to wear cloths to hide when ever I went out in the day but ever since comming to Forks i didn't have to hide as much. There was little if any sun here and for that I was truely greatful. Bu the wrost thing of all was the burning in my throat. Even now as I sat I felt it but Ipushed it aside. AS i looked around though I could start to hear the others hearts beat in their chest and I felt myself lose it again. I placed my hand over my nose like I normally did when this sort of thing started to happen and sinply got up and left.

She blinked her eyes to the new girl, her black and white hair falling over her cheeks, and eyes gently. Those amber red, gold eyes glittered as she blinked them. She was beautiful truely. She wore a pretty long sleeve black shirt, with a fish net underneath, as it had a deep V, the fish not covering her skin. Other than that, she had tight black jeans on, with black high heels beneath. She sniffed at the air slightly, and she let out something between a sigh and growl, making a few kids look at her. She blinked, and acted like she was clearing her throat, as she began to write again, her black sleeves covering her knuckles. She sat down her pen, and slowly stood, excusing herself from the teacher, as she followed the girl. She ran to quick for human speed. She finally caught up behind her, and let her hand rest on her arm, those blueish lips pulling up in a sorta smile, revealing a row of sharp teeth. She didn't speak though, but she made it clear enough she didn't want to hurt her. But it was easy to mistake this girl for a human, how she looked and such. Don't worry.. It'll get better.. I don't have that burn much anymore, but it'll soon go away.. Come on, I'll tell the office we're leaving, just to get you out to hunt if you wish.. She whispered so sweetly, and cooly, smiling again, her amber eyes seemed like melted gems. But there was a blackness to her eyes, which seemed strange, and it always hid everytime you looked at it, burying itself in color. She smiled again, turning to look around. She was very tiny.

I didn't even hear the girl walk up behind me and as she placed her hand on my shoulder I jumped.
"What are you talking about?"
I asked trying my best not to let her know that I was afraid. How did she know about my throat burning and what did she mean "hunt?" As I studied her though somthing remided me of myself. Then it hit me. It was her eyes. They flashed red somewhere in the deepness of honey but I knew I saw them flash red like mine. I didn't even care anymore that I didn't know her but she looked like she really wanted to help and the burning was begining to sufficate me. Without a word I nodded and followed her. I would go wereever she took me if she could calm the flames in my chest.That's when another thought hit me.
I had to be loseing my mind.
"I'm going crazy." I thought to myself as i followed her.

She walked to the front counter, and said one word, and hauled the girl out. Follow me, K? She mummbled, as she began to run, inhumanly, pulling the girl with her. She talked while running. It's natural. Us Vampire's have a natural thirst, come on, I know something that will help. She suddenly let go of the girls arm, and ran through the trees, darting here and there with ease. She closed her eyes for a moment, takening in a deep breath. She gasped, and suddenly, head on, tackled a deer. Her fangs shreded into the creatures flesh, and she began to feed, but she stopped herself, as the red shimmered now brightly in her iris's. She grunted, as she hauled it up, and ran back to the girl, dropping the deer infront of her, rubbing the blood from her lips. Come on, you can eat now.. Don't worry, It helps, its not as good as human, but still good. She smiled encouragling, the blood scent lifting to her nose made her breath roughly, and raggedly. She shook her head, and turned, and look. She darted off again, and came back with a rabbit, as she sat neatly on tree root, and sucked the blood, closing her eyes, and she finally let it drop, and when she opened her eyes, they were a beautiful, melted topaz coloring. She smiled at the girl. I'm Winter Cullen.. She mummured to the girl, her icey white skin glittery with droplets of water.

AS I followed tis girl I never could understand what she was doing until we stopped. SHe was running. Could I run that fast? I thought to myself as I bunched up the muccles in my legs and ran off in the direction she went. When I stopped I thought I would need to breath so I took in a deep breath but when I stopped it seemed like I didn't even need the oxygen. I didn't even care abou tit at first but when she came back with a deer I almost wanted to cry. She killed the animal and I myself was a vegitairian but as soon as I got a good sniff I couldn't help myself. My body leaped without me telling it to and I found my lips pressed to the neck of the dead deer carcus. I drank and drank the warm liquid that flowed from it and my throat started to stop burning. When nothing else could be sucked from the deer I simly let it drop to the forest floor. Moments later I could control myself and when I looked down I was a mess. Crimson liquid was everywhere. On me, my shirt, hands and my face and all over the deer. I collapsed to the ground and felt my stomach roll in revault and though I thought I was going to be sick I never did puke.
"What the hell...who are you...w-what are you?"
I gasped out as my body started to shake. I wanted to cry but my eyes didn't get wet but they stung. I felt numb and I wanted to scream. However my voice was stuck somewhere in my throat. I looked up at the girl who had tossed a rabbit to the side. I felt another pang of griff. THen I saw her eyes. THey weren't tinged with red anymore but a beautiful topaz. I gasped again.
"Just what the heck are you!" I screamed as I looked her over again.

Deary, you don't know what we are..? Oh, I see, you were never told, were you? She whispered. She slowly stood, walking over to her, as she grabbed at a mirror in her purse. She slowly flipped it open, and held it infront of the girl, to show her her own changed eyes. She smiled sheepily. We're Vampires Love.. You were probably bit. There are of two kinds, Those who drink human blood, and those of us who are the vegeterians of our world, who drink animal blood. It's a sad truth, I regret being one, but it's lovely after sometime.. She whispered, blinking off, staring for sometime, but looked back at her. How old do you think I am? She whispered, her eyebrows furrowed together, as if she was concerned slightly. She looked around, then it was clear, slightly, how this girl, Winter, and Kannon were more beautiful than any others, how they didn't get sick, or how they couldnt cry when they tried, or need to breath. Then she could see, this girl wasn't breathing, and hadn't been.

"Vampires..." I said my voice coming ou tlike a whisper then I gasp for breath again. I didn't need to do that anymore but I couldn't help it. I had just held my breath for over a minute so unless I was dreaming I would be dead. However I was still here. I looked into the mirror she held out and with another gasp I cringed away. The contacts had ripped a long time ago and what i saw now was really frightening. My eyes were almost the same shade as her's now. My seemed to glow with the lightest shades of copper. I started to feel my eyes sting again as I tried to take what she said in. THat night something had happened that changed me forever but somehow I couldn't remeber what. I do remeber the fire that consumed my whole body for days on end. I remebered that and shuddered but I wasn't cold. I never got cold anymore. THat's when she had asked how old I thought she was. Looking at her I could quess maybe 16 or 17. No older but maybe younger. THough we were about the same in size and that itself was hard to belive. I was tiny and not many people i met where even close to my size but this girl who name was Winter looked as though she could be the only one I looked like now. She was beautiful and i knew that I was too. I never could get over that fact. I never really was the star before that night but after waards everybody seemed to notice me.But as the word echoed around in my head I got to my feet and brushed myself off. I felt my lose what sanity I had and smiled a croocked grin.
"VAmpires....aren't real."
I said in a tone of voice I've never heard from me before. It was monotoned and very low I wasn't even sure if she had heard me. I simply wiped my moth and turned and walked away. I truely had lost my mind at that point. THere was no other reason for this to be happening. VAmpire werenn't real and what happened back there was something my mind had made up to try to jstify what happened that night.

She follohind. Don't beleive me? Watch. She suddenly ran, amazingly fast, fast as a car maybe, and appeared back. She grabbed a gaint rock, ing it with one hand, and grabbed onto it, shattering it. Then she hissed, and growled, her fangs showing. She calmed though. Everything about us is deadly. Our speed, Our strength, even our bodies. We are Vampires, why else would you drink the blood? Try holding your breath, come on... She mummured to her, her eyes looking at her. She slowly walked forward, touching her arm. She blinked, and she still wasn't breathing. I havent tooken a br since yesterday... She whispered. And for my age. Im a permenant Sixteen.. I am truely Three hundred, and twenty one years old.. She whispered. My whole family is a Vampire coven.. Your like us.. She whispered, smiling somewhat.

Wating her run was kinda fun. Watching as she shattere the rock in her bare hand was odd. As she growled and bared her fangs that part was scary.However I couldn't deny it any longer.
"Damnit."
I said as i looked at my hand. I balled it into a first and tucked it by my side. I was trembling. My anger was building and my whole body was gearing up for me to exsplode.
"Why the hell did this happen to me!? I'm not supposed to be like this. I've got a mom and a dad and people who I care about! THis is so...so...grraaar!"
The sound that finished my sentance was not a word but a growl. A truely animal like growl. I placed my hand on the bridge of my nose and held it there.Could vampires get headaches? Who knew and right now I really didn't care. When I walked back over to where she was my anger melted but I couldn't tell why. "Okay I'm a...I'm a vampire." "what do I do now?"
I asked simply at a lost. THe embers in my chest started heat up again and I lost it. Something moved in the forest and it wasn't one of us. It was a animal and it's blood was warm. My body flung and I leaped out and came crasing down on something big. It was furry but before I could tell what it was my fangs grew from my gums and sunk deep into the beast's neck. I sickening sound of bone breaking filled the forest as I drianed the animal dry. Dropping it I could see that it was not a deer. It was a bear. A really big but kinda small black bear.

She smiled at her sweetly, blinking. Then she watched her run, and she followed quickly. She smiled, as she stared down. My, That's great for your first time hunting. The largest I caught was a great white. She giggled to herself lightly. I was in Australia, Surfing, when I got attacked. Poor thing though, with those pretty black eyes. Ya' Know, my eyes use to be black... She went on, and walked around, and she turned, smiling. Your going to have to rid yourself completely of the thirst, and go for a few days without feeding maybe. Besides that rabbit, I havent eaten to four days. You get use to it. She whispered soothingly. So, you have parents? My mother died having me, and my father, well, he was killed protecting me... She whispered, her lips forming a hard, cold line. She sighed, and smiled again. If you want, you can tell your family, or move into a coven, much like us Cullens. It's always nice to bring a new one home. A new sister sounds lovely, if you'd like. She mummured, kneeling down next to her.

As she complimented me on my kill I couldn't help but feel happy. I may be a monster but I was a pretty damn good one at that. But for some reason I couldn't stay mad. WEll not around her. I was mad that I had killed the bear but as soon as she came around I sorta felt her happyness and it took over me. Weird and that was alot comming from me. I didn't feel the embers burning as badly as before almost so I wondered had it left. However to my utter dismay, I could still feel the faint choking fire smolder a bit. I heard her question about my parents and heard her talk about her own. Her tone was strangly not as upset as I thought it should be but something in her mood shifted a bit.
"My parents think I'm a demon from Japanses forklore."
I said with a little laugh. It was kinda funny now that I truely thought about it. Ever since birth my family said I was a princess. Told me storied of Kitsunes and Onis and other myths. My own grandmother even nicknamed me kit to justify that I was a rencarnation of a powerful Fox goddess. How iroc now that I had become a vampire.
"THey cast me out when I woke up from the fire. I tried to go home but my skin wa all sparkling and they said I wasn't their daughter." "THey belive I've gone missing or at the very lest that the Fox godess is useing my body for a host."
I said as I got up. I looked down at my clothes again and sighed. "How fitting, I'm covered in blood."
I said as I took her up on her offer.

Her eyes sparkled like diamonds at once. Great! I'm sure Carlisle will let you stay with us! But.. We also have to ask everyone else.. She rolled her eyes softly. Her eyes blinked, and that black coloring could be seen pretty well currently, its jagged points barely showing in the color. She moved hair from her eyes gently, and you could see a small, jagged, and black tattoo stretched on her cheek. She looked down at her. Come on, let's go to my house, and get you a good change of clothes, and get everyones approval. She whispered, smiling again brightly. She stood, and started to run off, and talking to her while running. The leader, and father of my family is Carlisle he turned four of us, he's also a doctor. I'm around the same age as him, in vampire aging. Esme is his mate, and our mother. He turned Edward, and Edward turned Bella, his mate, our brother and sister. Rosalie was turned by Carlisle, and she found Emmett, and brought him back to Carlisle, to be turned. Rose and Emmett are mates. Then theres Alice and Jasper. They came to the Cullens sometime ago on their own. Bella had a child before she was turned, a half vampire, named Renesmee. Then theres me. I was turned by a nomad, and People found me throwing myself off cliffs, into jagged rocks, so they took me to the hospital, and thats where Carlisle found me. And, I found you. She smiled, as she gave a quick, and breif look onto her family. She jumped over a fallen log, her body stopped shortly, but she kept running. There was something about her, if you realise now, that had a strange gate to her running, like, a hunter. Maybe Winter hadn't been a vegeterian for as long as it looked.
